This drink warms you from within…and whisks you away to the Amalfi Coast. Think: a lovely balance of maple and almond with citrus undertones. It’s a fresh twist on the traditional sour with simple elements that you likely have on hand.

Ingredients: makes one cocktail

1½ oz amaretto (DiSaronno works well)

1 oz bourbon (we love Bulleit)

½ oz egg white, beaten

1 oz fresh lemon juice

2 tsp fresh orange juice

ice

orange or lemon peel for garnish

 

How-to:

Add all ingredients to shaker and gently shake to combine. Add cracked ice and shake again to chill. Pour into an old-fashioned glass and garnish with a twist.
